Pretty close to perfect

It isn't the fanciest tent light but I can't see most people needing anything more. This light has everything that I wanted during a precautionary two-week quarantine in a tent:1) Light - There are probably brighter, but this was more than enough to light a 10' x 10' tent plenty bright for reading.2) Battery-life - I accidentally left it on one particularly dark morning and it was still going that evening without a recharge. For car camping or camping at a site with an outlet I can't imagine you would ever need more than that. For backpacking, maybe but only if you use it a lot every night and it would be easy to recharge from another usb battery.3) The Remote - Is there anything so bourgeois as having a remote for your tent light? Yeah it seems stupid but when you are in the middle of a cold, cold night the last thing you want to do is leave your sleeping bag to turn off your tent light! Seriously this feature is worth it!My only real complaint is that the light pattern is fairly directional. That's fine so long as you are directly underneath it, but it can be frustrating if you are trying to read in a corner of the tent. One of the "leaf" designs might spread light better. Not really the biggest problem in the world, but it honestly the only thing I can think of to complain about.Anyway it was one of the things that made my quarantine experience fairly pleasant and I am looking forward to using it for camping under better circumstances.

Pros
  • Environmentally friendly due to rechargeable batteries
Cons
  • The lantern's light temperature is too cool and uninviting

I am so excited about this little guy! Itโ€™s small but it is mighty. Iโ€™m using it in my market tent and the remote makes it even easier to change the brightness as the sun sinks lower and lower!!
