When I bought these we had just got back from Italy and wanted to get some espresso cups like the ones we used to drink there. Complete with our brand new espresso machine. These mugs are a bit heavier and thicker, but to be honest they seem to be better made than they are made in Italy. I've had them for a few months now and they look brand new.
