I have been cooking for years and love to cook a variety of dishes. As you can understand, I have accumulated many, many types of spices and dried herbs for various dishes that I cook. My glasses were neatly arranged over a few lazy Suzans in my closet, but I really needed shelf space for larger items. I had a bare wall in my closet and bought 2 sets of these shelves to hang in 3 rows, 2 in each row. Each shelf holds 8 standard glasses. Since I have more, I can order more shelves. As others have said, the shelves can be a little uneven, but since mine is behind a closed pantry door I didn't care. You are now just a few steps from my food prep area instead of halfway across the room. The photo only shows about 60% of my herbs and spices, so I guess I'll have to order those extra shelves. This is a great addition to my kitchen.
