This "universal" (for modern devices at least) USB cable works great. We have all three types of forks in our family. My Galaxy S8 uses a USB Type-C connector, our Kindle and many other devices use a Micro-USB connector, and an iPhone requires a Lightning connector. All three plugs work perfectly, with fast charging for all of our devices that can handle high current (which is required to fast charge a smartphone). We've tried many different USB cables over the years. When we find a good cable I usually buy 3-5 cables because they tend to disappear or eventually break when stepped on, closed by a door or whatever. In fact, I bought 3 of these to use in my car and in the guest rooms as the 6 foot length is great for charging while in use, even in the back seat or in the middle of a full sized bed. I will be buying 3 more because (A) they actually work better than most cables we've tried and (B) I keep handing them out to guests who stay with us and fall in love with them when they put them in use in my guest rooms. They are not expensive, very beautiful and a great gift when someone is leaving. Hopefully they will fondly remember their stay whenever they use it. I just gave the last maybe I'll order 5 this time as I'm pretty sure I'll be losing a few over the next few months. Family comes to stay and these are people who haven't stayed with me in a long time. You haven't been "gifted" with either of them yet. So. Yes I will get 5 more of these while I can, they really are the best we have tried. By the way, we also have some of these with interchangeable ends attached to thin plastic threads. And some of them also offer powerful fast charging, etc. But we find that after many have unplugged one head and installed another, back and forth, one of the adapters is broken, leaving the cable only for the remaining functional tail-type devices is working . This 3-ended cable doesn't seem to wear out that much and lasts a long time. I haven't broken one yet, although my wife locked one in her car door and she pretty much did. I think that's a limitation. 6 feet LONG. You'll have to wrap up the excess and fill it in yourself so it doesn't hang behind your car's door. Just leave enough for the front seat to work. You can always use it for people in the back seat if needed. Then roll it back up, maybe up to 3 feet, just for the front. It is better to close the end in the machine door and press the reorder button.
