I'll be brief - this is an amazing multimeter with many options and features. But the same positive qualities could be the reason why it is not ideal for everyone. Simply put, I don't think most users will ever need all of the features on offer, and having them adds complexity. A little clarification: you have several options for connecting test leads, different types of leads, additional accessories for other types of tests and measurements, the list goes on. For those users who are always messing around with electronics or working on any project, this multimeter is probably a great choice - lots of options and at a great price. But if you usually only test one circuit, checking voltage or continuity, checking resistance or similar tasks, it's just too much. And you need a place to store all the accessories because there is no case, bag or anything else to store it. I plan on keeping this in my tool cabinet drawer along with all the accessories and manual so I can find it when I need to use it. But I would never keep that in my tool box that I take with me for various tasks (camping in the caravan, working on an electrical project or something like that). My other issue with this device is the size. The large display is amazing, but the overall size of the device is pretty big for most purposes unless it's going to be sitting on a lab bench or something most of the time. They included a strap with magnets for attaching to surfaces, which comes in handy in some cases. The kickstand on the back is difficult to pull out — there's no notch or latch to grab the edge. Why am I giving 4 stars after all this? Well it is pretty much what they say and does everything that is advertised and can. So if you get this and understand the complexity of this fully functional multimeter then you will not be surprised and should be very pleased with it. It keeps its promises very well and therefore deserves a good rating. Just make sure it fits your needs if that makes sense. (Note that the one star deduction is due to the apparently less than excellent build quality where you can see in the picture that the yellow case was loosening the day I opened it. I don't think so that it will be a real problem as a bit of tape will solve this problem without affecting in any way the use of the product). *** Please note I received this product for free in exchange for my unbiased review.
