I love merino wool and wear it almost every day. So glove lining, yes, of course. Taking off gloves without removing the lining, or putting on a glove that is already lined - for this reason, despite the cold, I often did not bother to put the right glove back on, and the index and thumb of the right hand are now very large holes, through which the finger can be inserted.
