Ideal for backpackers with accessories

My hands are always cold when I travel, but they get very hot with gloves on. I love them because I can wear them alone or under gloves when I'm not actively moving or generating heat. They survived the entire winter hiking season and are therefore already worth their price. I think I'll live in it for a few more seasons as I haven't seen any signs of wear yet.

Pros
  • Light lining
Cons
  • I'm silent

Light but not strong

Bought these gloves for running and as a base layer for the ski season. These gloves have developed pinholes on the fingertips after only 4 months of infrequent and light use - they have not touched sharp objects or climbed over rocks while wearing them. I bought them in the summer and only used them on a few (pun intended) cold days in Colorado. I was hoping for something better and more durable from an icebreaker.

Pros
  • New and improved fit!
Cons
  • Don't remember

Glove LINING - very brittle and abrasion resistant

I love merino wool and wear it almost every day. So glove lining, yes, of course. Taking off gloves without removing the lining, or putting on a glove that is already lined - for this reason, despite the cold, I often did not bother to put the right glove back on, and the index and thumb of the right hand are now very large holes, through which the finger can be inserted. I'll cut off those two fingers and keep using the earbuds, but be aware they aren't very durable.

Pros
  • LYCRA improves fit and drying time
Cons
  • not durable
