I've never used matcha, let alone made cups myself. My packet of tea and those essentials arrived last night just a few hours after I ordered them. I've searched the internet for information and the most important thing is not to eat matcha on an empty stomach. Can cause abdominal pain. So I made myself a cup after breakfast. I had no idea what to expect. But I must have gotten tea and water in the right ratio, sieve, whisk, measuring spoon worked fine because the matcha turned out good and tasted good! It's very easy to use. This set is a calm celadon. The only thing that struck me as odd was that the traditional Japanese set was made in China.
