My husband wore them around the house because his legs always hurt. I only had to throw them away once he wore them on a fishing trip and they got wet. They smelled so bad judging by their soft lining that I didn't even plan on cleaning them. Also, one of the ligaments tore recently. They were with him for about 7 months.
