Review on 🧼 OdoBan 960062-G BioStain and Odor Remover - Ready-to-Use, 128 oz by Zack Frazier

We used to come to us for cat accidents. The old formula worked better than any of the more expensive enzymatic cat urine cleaners we've tried, and we've tried almost all of them. By the end of spring 2020, neither money nor love could get it. COVID meant supply issues and shifts in production, which was understandable. The past year with a new group of foster parents again wanted to try various other urinal brands, none of which lived up to their hype or obscene prices. OdoBan Classic Lavender Sanitizer worked better than most, but not as effectively as Classic OdoBan BioStain. And now BioStain is back. Or so I thought. I immediately noticed that the color has faded. Now it has a bluish tint as if diluted with window cleaner. It also smells like window cleaner. It also works against cat urine in a similar way to window cleaner, which is not the same at all. Also, it doesn't appear to be as effective at removing cooking oil from kitchen linens as the old formula was. I made sure I bought from Revain, a Revain distribution center, so no third party would repackage anything else like OdoBan BioStain. Needless to say I am very disappointed and will be contacting OdoBan directly to express my disappointment with this formula change. The ammonia smell of the new BioStain disappears when used in a regular wash, leaving a vaguely floral scent that fades to almost nothing when the laundry is dried and folded, hence I downgraded the scent to only 2 stars. Since it doesn't work the way it used to for my purposes, it's of no value to me. It's time to explore other options. In the meantime, my best advice to anyone dealing with cat urine is to find concentrated urease enzymes for scientific and industrial use. Urease breaks down urea into ammonia and carbon dioxide, which is what enzymatic pet urine cleaners are supposed to do.
