Review on D-Link DWA-162 Wi-Fi Network Adapter | Wireless Dual Band, 900 Mbps USB by Jonathan Unruh

I bought this without high expectations but it's definitely worth it. The router is near 2 walls between me and the device. I pay for 60mb down and 4 up with a charter link to this device, i get 66.29mb and 4.36 up with a 25ms ping to a state close to mine on speedtest.net. For the price of 18 plus 4 shipping I'm very happy with it. It currently costs 12 with free shipping if you need a stable USB WiFi adapter. stable 50-55 ms, which is the same as if I was hardwired and had no latency spikes. The included cable is fairly short, although it really does pick up the signal better than my HP Envy laptop no matter where I place it. Very happy with the performance of this device. People are complaining about the lack of a 5GHz band in Windows 10 and that seems to be true, so if you want 5GHz you might want to look elsewhere.
