I got this device some time ago.

I received this unit a while ago and have been trying to get it to work on Win 10 for about 2 1/2 hours. I've tried suggestions from other buyers but nothing seems to work. Lack of support for Win 10 makes this device obsolete. If you have Windows 10, do not purchase this product or you will have a severe headache that will lead to nothing but disappointment. Gave one star because I couldn't go less.

Excellent 2.4GHz band adapter; 5GHz, not so much.

First day in the 5 GHz band. It has been running on the 2.4GHz band for a year without any problems (strong signal, no dropouts, maximum throughput, etc.). I have tried Windows 8 Pro, Windows 8.1 Pro and Windows 10 Pro to get the 5GHz band working to no avail. However, I installed the latest version of Ubuntu yesterday and it can use both tracks successfully. Unfortunately, Linux will never natively support the few applications I need to use on a daily basis. Damn.

Now I can stream HD videos.

I recently moved into a house. The router is a dual band N900 router and is located on the other side of the house. I was using the N150 WiFi adapter on my desktop and was only able to get an average download speed of 0.66MB/s. My phone downloaded an average of 15MB of speech on Sprint's 4GLTE, so I found those speeds ridiculous. When I received this Wi-Fi adapter it was very easy to set up (including the CD drivers) and the new test is 16MB/s. At least I can stream HD videos (Youtube 720p)…

Finally a great wireless adapter that really works.

After trying 2 Belkin adapters, I decided to go with D-Link on a friend's recommendation. This works better than I expected. Where I've had intermittent slow speeds and even power outages with my Belkin adapters, this adapter is pretty fast and I've never lost connection. What I like about this unit - Easy, painless installation - Has a good range. (I was able to walk 3 blocks from my house before my signal strength started to degrade.) - Maintains great connectivity and speed. What I don't…

Excellent 2.4Ghz band adapter

I bought this without high expectations but it's definitely worth it. The router is near 2 walls between me and the device. Works beautifully on my Windows 10 machine

My home office is like the Wi-Fi Bermuda Triangle. It's literally on the opposite side of the wall from the router, but the first three adapters I bought either had a weak signal, dropped the signal intermittently, or had no signal at all. I saw this wireless adapter at Revain and the reviews suggested it might work for me. When I first opened the box, I was amazed at how small this Wi-Fi adapter is! I almost didn't buy it because it looked about the size of a soda can. It's about the size of…

Great little adapter, but it takes work to get 5GHz on Windows 10

This is a great little USB adapter and it works better than I thought for the price. The only problem is that the Windows 10 plug and play drivers only provide 2.4GHz and the dlink drivers are very outdated. So if you want 5GHz, you'll have to do some work. ---- Get 5GHz on Windows 10 ---- 1. You need to find the Ralink RT35732 chipset. Now go to mediatek.com/en/downloads1/downloads/3. Look for the download that goes with your part number, which should be RT307X (the one I'm using at the…
