Our cat is 17 years old and has stress related feline herpes. Fortunately, it is not a chronic disease, but when under stress, it leads to serious illnesses of nasal congestion and refusal to eat. I have packs and packs of lysine treats, morsels and snacks that she has looked at and rejected. When I opened it and sniffed it, I thought, haha, no way.
