These threads have worked very well for my embroidery threads. They are made of very hard plastic and are actually quite durable. The slits hold the ends well as you tuck them behind the previous loops at the end of the wrap. Perfect size for most sewing boxes. Large quantity. I have about 20 cards left and I've included a photo for reference if you're wondering how many you might need. For me the amount was perfect. It was very easy for me to organize my color choices. It took me about two or three wrap films and I did it! It was actually quite pleasant and went much faster than I thought. Now all my colors are organized and don't get confused when I'm working on a project. This product was a very worthwhile purchase and I will likely purchase more in the future. Happy sewing!
