The product has become unusable due to the lack of grounding. See photo. It's not that the ground link was simply missing a thumbscrew, it's that the ground link appears to have been eliminated from the design entirely. There is still a label on the case indicating where the ground should be, but the actual connector isn't there or anywhere else on the unit. Compare the picture of the device I received with the photos and descriptions in the marketing information. The ground connection should be directly above the 12v power connection. The loud hum from not being able to ground my turntable to the preamp is totally unbearable and unacceptable. I know it's a grounding issue because touching the turntable's ground wire to the outer metal collar of the preamp's RCA input leads eliminates the hum completely. Finding an hour with no contact information, I had to give up that idea. It turns out that customer service is lacking. So I am forced to return the device and buy something that is not dusty.
