These Are Great! in my review

I own a Mac Mini, with an i7 processor- from 2012. At the time I bought it, I "maxed it out" with 16-gigs of RAM. The computer was FAST! Over the years (and countless software updates), the computer seemed to slow down. and then, it began crashing. randomly. There were several possible causes, but simplest one to address, was the RAM I'd replaced, in the beginning. So I purchased this Timetec 16GB Kit, installed the "sticks" in minutes, and. now my Mini runs like the day I pulled it out of the…

Pros
  • UPDATED MY LAPTOP TO 16MG WORKS FINE AND NO PROBLEMS
Cons
  • Can be confusing to determine the correct RAM type for your laptop

Functons as it should!

Installations was a breeze. However, this also depends on your Laptop you are installing it on.For those having issues with it not booting, make sure they are seated properly. I would also say, install 1 at a time. Test and if all is good move on to the next RAM stick if you are installing another. Helps with diagnosing any issues or a possible DOA.Good luck!

Pros
  • RAM worked perfectly; recognized by the system. Been running for a couple weeks now. No issues
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all laptop models

Pros
  • Compatible with a wide range of laptop models
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain virtual private networks

Great upgrade - my new review

The memory fit right in easy install. Once I fired up the pc. It read 12gigs! I was surprised and happy for the increase in memory. I went from 4 to 12gigs! So I was very pleased

Pros
  • High-quality 204-pin SODIMM delivers efficient performance with minimal power consumption
Cons
  • May not work in certain virtual desktop infrastructure

Worked in my Synology NAS! What a bargain!

My NAS has 8GB standard, and there is no official upgrade for the RAM, though it needs it-- for all the stuff the NAS can do, Synology sure is under-RAMming. Anyway, I read online somewhere that it was straightforward, as the motherboard inside the NAS can support up to 16GB, and I was able to find this bit of RAM. It installed in a couple of minutes, and that was that.Even Synology (whose support people deserve an award) saw that I had added RAM, violating their ToS, and mentioned it, and then

Pros
  • Very good ram. Works find.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to identify faulty RAM if issues arise

Works in Dell Inspiron 17R N7110

I just want to confirm that this 16GB kit works in Dell Inspiron 17R N7110 which Dell specification says max memory is 8GB.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Limited improvement for streaming performance

It works perfectly in my review

It worked perfect for me and the price is really good. I've had issues with DDR3 RAM memory that I purchased at local computer parts store. The price was double compare to this price and on top of that it didn't work. It wasn't posting anything on the screen. After installing this 16GB DDR3 and 1TB SSD my computer works definitely faster.

Pros
  • Clean and modern design complements the laptop's existing look
Cons
  • May not work with certain video conferencing software

Just worked in my review

Upgraded my laptop from 4G to 16G with these - they worked right off, went through the memory diagnostic with no errors - what more is ther to ask for?

Pros
  • As advertised.
Cons
  • May not be a drastic enough improvement for power users

Worked great with no problems

I upped from 4gig to 16 gig which speeded up the PC a lot. Memory was very easy to install and was inexpensive and worked perfectly.

Pros
  • DDR3L / DDR3 technology provides exceptional energy efficiency
Cons
  • Limited improvement for audio production performance

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's cheap and it seems to work.

Upgraded memory on laptop to 16 gigs from 8 gig. This module seems fully compatible with the Kingston that was in it from the factory. No issues out of it.

Pros
  • Brand is new to me but, no problems
Cons
  • Heatsinks may not fit in certain laptop models

RAM works excellent for a lower price!

Came into a laptop that had only 8GB RAM in it and I wanted more. Great deal on this RAM! Pulled out the old, snapped in the new and away we go! I also purchased a SSD here and with both installed (Intel i5) the laptop now runs circles around my main machine. GOOD DEAL!

Pros
  • Easy to install, requiring no technical expertise or special tools
Cons
  • May require additional troubleshooting if issues arise

Works perfectly! in my review

I ordered the "Timetec 8GB DDR3L / DDR3 1600MHz (DDR3L-1600) PC3L-12800 / PC3-12800(PC3L-12800S) Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.35V/1.5V CL11 2Rx8 Dual Rank 204 Pin SODIMM Lap" and received the item very quickly, unopened, in perfect condition. The SODIMMs were used to breathe new life into a 12 year old computer, and what a difference! Amazing what going to 4GB to 16GB does for an old system.

Pros
  • Low-voltage capability prevents excess power consumption
Cons
  • Limited improvement for 3D modeling performance

Works on my 10yo All in one PC

After updating my computer I upgraded the memory. Removed two of 4gb and replaced it with this. Works really well. Can take up valuable storage space in certain laptop models.

Pros
  • Designed and manufactured in accordance with strict quality control processes to ensure uncompromised performance
Cons
  • Can take up valuable storage space in certain laptop models

Works great: my feedback

I bought 16GB for an old Lenovo E555 that had 4GB initially. This was a cheap and painless way to speed up the old laptop before it gets retired. Was very easy to install, see any Youtube on the subject for assistance.

Pros
  • Easy to install and I got the desired outcome from my laptop!
Cons
  • May require additional hardware beyond RAM to fully benefit

Affordable ram on my review.

I was hoping it would work with an old HP Pavilion and it did :) For the cost, it was an easy choice for testing. My original order was shippes, shown as delivered, but i never got it. Revain was able to re ship after 48 hours.

Pros
  • Internal Components
Cons
  • Limited improvement for virtual machine usage

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked perfectly on a Thinkpad

Ran a memtest after installing this on a Thinkpad and had no issues there or booting up. More than worth the price. Included the CPU-Z info in case people are curious.

Pros
  • OK
Cons
  • Limited improvement for general usage

Instantly recognized

You need to be careful because some laptops need PC3 RAM and others need PC3L. The L stands for low voltage. I have lots of PC3 chips but they all made my laptop freeze at boot. Apparently pc3l can work with PC3 but not the other way around. Anyway, this install took 6 mins, Windows recognized immediately now I'm rocking 12GB. A big difference from 4. (thought I had at least 8 but decided to look into it when my 2+applications were giving me trouble. Now? Zip, zip, zip. One program in…

Pros
  • Great upgrade of an older Dell with a good price for 16gb.
Cons
  • May require BIOS adjustments to fully benefit

Revainrating 5 out of 5

After installing it, I changed my computer's name.

I used to call my computer "Mr. Freeze". Now it's become "The Flash". Yes, sadly Mr. Freeze was so slow and froze so much that she was about to move to the landfill. She is a Dell Inspiron 3646. She was lazy and refused to work up to any sort of speed. Then I received an inspiration. It dawned on me that she only had 4 gigs of memory. That's when my search for knowledge led me to the Revain. I found this 8 gig Timetec memory! Before buying it, I saw that it was well received by the Revainians…

Pros
  • It's RAM. You plug it in and it either works or it doesn't. It does.
Cons
  • May not be a worthwhile improvement for non-intensive usage

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can't believe they worked!

I was really skeptical at first, 16GB RAM for 27$? that's a great value right there. It was easy to install for Dell E5540, and worked like a charm with the first boot. from 4GB to 16GB, you will notice the difference. fast shipment too. I'd recommend.

Pros
  • added another ram to my computer and it worked great seems to have sped up my computer a bit
Cons
  • May void laptop warranty

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked as Expected, Good Value

Ordered this ram upgrade for my refurbished HP EliteDesk 800 G1. Photo shows "before" memory upgrade which consisted of 2 4GB memory modules (8GB total). This is a "mini" PC (only about 10 X 10 inches) so only 2 memory memory slots.PC seemed to run OK with 8GB (max possible was 16GB) but Google seemed to often not load a new internet screen without using "Reload" from a drop-down menu. Online search suggested that problem may be insufficient ram. So, I figured that more ram at least couldn't…

Pros
  • Plugged it, PC started right up. Ran a RAM diagnostic test and it shows all is well.
Cons
  • May require professional installation assistance
