The module does exactly what it says on the tin and fixes a nasty ground loop problem that came from my PC and went through my audio circuitry. The issue I had and the reason I deducted a star and ended up returning the product was that it doesn't really support USB 2.0. It supports it in the sense that you can plug in anything that is USB 2.0 and it will connect, but that's just USB's inherent backwards compatibility. The device only supports USB 1.1 connected speeds. I wanted to use this between a USB connection from my PC to my external DAC (digital to analog converter) which then connects to my stereo. The good news was that USB connection noise was eliminated. I didn't need an additional power supply as my DAC has its own and doesn't get USB power. While this muted the connection, I was dismayed to find that due to the slow USB 1.1 era speeds through the module, the higher bit depth and sample rate was not available to my DAC, which is designed to use USB 2.0. So if you're buying this to fix USB grounding issues on your audio gear and don't mind being limited to 16-bit 48kHz audio, it works great for the price. However, if your hardware is designed for higher USB transfer rates, you won't be able to use their full potential.
