I like the grip and microphone of this camcorder. To be honest, I thought my phone would be good enough, but because the little girl started to crawl, it was difficult to take good photos and videos at her level. The accessories for this camera are great to enhance user experience. The video and photo quality is better than my iPhone, the sound is excellent. It's actually so much fun seeing the world from my daughter's level that she is exploring and experiencing it with her. As an added bonus, it syncs well with my Mac Pro!
