Review on VTech VTSN5147 Amplified Cordless Answering by Joshua Wheeler

I am very happy with this phone system. It has a large, easy-to-read screen and large buttons. I like speed dial photos and call blocking features. It's very easy to set up. Out of the box the ringer is very loud, but it CAN be set to a lower volume by going through the prompts on the cordless handset. There is also a built-in autoresponder. Phone calls sound crystal clear, and you can even turn up the volume during a call or slow down a caller's message while listening to your voice messages on the answering machine, which is great, especially when you're trying to jot down notes or the phone number the caller is leaving. . You can even program reminders for yourself. I have a wired/wireless system and also bought an additional camera phone extension that works fine with this system. Maybe I'll get the pendant in the future. I have a vonage voip-over service and all the features work great with it, including call blocking. I highly recommend this phone system not only to the elderly and people with disabilities, but to anyone looking for an easy-to-use phone system with a large display and great sound quality.
