This is SO much better product than the one I used with my Pagoda Fountain Aftermarket Reusable Water Filter. The activated carbon that came with the small filter was difficult to fill properly due to the granule size. Now I can get such better filtration with barely a grain of carbon in the water. You still need to rinse the filter before collecting it; but even then you only get gray "bleed" from charcoal. I'm not falling out and the bleeding stops in less than a minute.
