Bought for my water turtle tank
300w heater model. I have a large red-eared turtle that lives outside in a large paddling pool. I put the roof of the kennel inside so she can hide and sleep. The heating is in their small apartment. I previously bought a smaller model but it only lasted about 6 months. This heater really heats the water! We live in Southern California but it was 40's night and I was worried about the turtle. It took a few days to heat the water and now it's in the mid 70's. I'm sure if used in an aquarium it will work fine. This model is an excellent heater.
