To simply test this device, I connected the headphone OUT of my MP3 player to the microphone input of this adapter and then the adapter to the USB port of my Dell laptop running Windows 10 Music sounded very good, even through the laptop's small speakers. Then, while the adapter was still plugged into the USB port, I connected the adapter's headphone output to the mini guitar amp's TS input and played the audio from the amp. Online youtube video from my laptop straight through the mini amp. Here, too, the results sounded very good. I can easily see where many people with more complex settings will get even better results. This small adapter is a simple, compact, easy and quick solution for a wide variety of purposes, whether for listening or recording.
