I had 2 of these and am about to order a third. Thanks to this chair, I was saved from so much pain. I have owned kneeling chairs for 40 years and this brand for 9 years and there is no other type of chair I could spend some time in. I know someone left a review about how dangerous they are, but I haven't had a problem using them in decades. It may not work for him, but it will definitely work for me! In fact, not only has it saved me from lower back pain, but also severe upper back pain, neck pain, and headaches. I used to come home from work every day with severe upper back and neck headaches that couldn't be controlled with painkillers. It ended up disappearing somewhere in the night and I had to go back to work the next day and start over! I asked my employer about it and was immediately relieved! And this brand did it. However, I would like to say that the filling loses loft very quickly. The manufacturer may try something else that works better since the current shim will not work. I solved this problem by putting a thick pillow under my knees and it worked. You might not want to do this, but this works for me. I have another brand with very thick memory foam padding that holds the height well, but the pillows are so narrow I feel like I might fall over at any moment. So I take this one because it's wide enough for me to sit comfortably. The only reason I buy a new one is because the air lifter is starting to stick after 9 years of daily use. I find the chair very well done. As for measuring, I'm 6 feet tall and weigh about 220 pounds. It fits me perfectly. I have osteoporosis from my allergy medication. At 50, according to my bone doctor, I had the spine of an 80-year-old. Now I am almost 62 years old and very thankful for these chairs! It's the difference between living in constant, incurable pain and living a normal life.
