The quality of Mitutoyo speaks for itself, as it has for decades. I have a set of Mitutoyo calipers that have served me well for 45 years and still do, but sometimes you get itchy for something new as they have a digital display and are easy on old tired eyes. If you have more money to spend, choose the B@S brand, if it helps you and what use is not for me. In my opinion for the price you get quality, accuracy and a product that will last for years, in short the best value for your hard earned money.
