I looked for cheaper alternatives to this tester before settling on the tester with the most features for the money. All I really needed was a tester for an analog camera system, but I knew I would eventually test IP cameras. I have responded to customer reviews and felt I should check that out as well. They have manufactured (or imported) a very high quality tester that they deserve to sell a lot more. This tester is in fact an Android device with all peripherals built in. They gave it a rather large battery which I want to get as a replacement. The loading process is a bit confusing. I'm not sure I'm doing this correctly, but once the red charging light goes from solid to flashing red, I assume it's charged. According to the instructions, you should not leave it unattended while charging. It's a bit scary. Currently I can only confirm the flawless functionality of the analog test. I purposely clipped this device to my wrist because I usually work alone and it is very convenient not only to see how the camera works but also to be able to aim and focus the camera without having to go down the stairs. I will update this tester after I come across an IP camera and test it too. I think I know where she is.
