Fairly easy to install if you're smart and handyman. I always watch youtube videos and read tutorials on work/modifications before doing it myself. I would recommend this especially to those who have never opened their controller. Not very difficult, nothing to be afraid of. Just see how it goes. The product itself has been installed in my personal controller for more than a month. I use the controller daily, usually at least an hour or two, sometimes longer. So far: L1 and R1 are nice and tight, with satisfying "click" and short key travel. I would give L1 and R1 four stars. L2 and R2 are less firm and give a faint click. Key travel is very short, so it's nice. But the trigger pad inserts they give you to insert into the L2 and R2 triggers don't snap to the button bar very clearly. My L2 trigger is much softer than the R2 trigger. I disassembled the controller and made sure I installed the kit correctly. I had. I'm 100% sure I installed it as intended. The soft triggers, particularly the L2, are the reason I give this set three stars overall. L1 and R1 are legal. L2 and R2 should have a cleaner "click". Still, I'd recommend it to anyone interested, and I'll most likely be buying another one for my brother's controller soon. To be honest, Extremerate is a cool company and I buy a bunch of their stuff for PS4/Xbox. Each of my kids has an Xbox, little rascals. So we have a PS4/Xbox mix at home. We all have something from Extremerate installed. #Law
