Medium sized dogs like it so far

I haven't seen many size reviews so thought I'd post them. I often find myself on the borderline between medium and large for my 43 pound English Pointer Lab mix as sizes vary wildly. I also noticed that the price is significant between medium and large. My dog likes to curl up when sleeping so the environment suits him well but his head hangs over the edge when stretched out. It doesn't seem to bother him and I'm happy with the environment for him.
