I haven't seen many size reviews so thought I'd post them. I often find myself on the borderline between medium and large for my 43 pound English Pointer Lab mix as sizes vary wildly. I also noticed that the price is significant between medium and large. My dog likes to curl up when sleeping so the environment suits him well but his head hangs over the edge when stretched out. It doesn't seem to bother him and I'm happy with the environment for him.

This is a nice, cozy bed. It's not evenly thick all the way around, but it's a good bed nonetheless. I got Wednesday. My dog is a husky mix who falls in the weight category but has a long body. I was worried it might be too small but it barely fits when rolled up. He likes to sleep curled up and lie down half and half. He seems to like it so I'm keeping the middle one. If you have a longer dog in the 50 pound range and want him to be able to stretch out a bit, you may need a larger one.

I'm so glad I bought this dog bed - our 7 1/2 year old Beagle mix just loves it! It usually takes her a while to get used to a new bed: she walks around it, sniffs it, strokes it to get it clean before really relaxing in it. This time she spent a few minutes sniffing around in her new bed, then climbed in, lay down with her whole body stretched out and took a deep breath! *Edit- The replacement bed they sent was the perfect quality you would expect from this brand. I was very disappointed when I received this bed in the condition it was delivered. The bottom was sewn incorrectly on the sides. On the inside, where my dog lay, this bed had about 6 inches of folded seams that were facing out and sticking out of the side on one side. I have nothing but good things to say about these beds! I have 2 chocolate labs and they absolutely love these beds! From day one they snuggle up to the beds and love them. I even bought an extra large size so they can snuggle up against each other, but they love the plush so much they go to each of their beds to snuggle up against the edges of the bed. The bed supports our little dog well, with a roll around it so he can curl up or rest his chin on it.
