I've always liked the idea of Nespresso, but I've never been a fan of the espresso made by their signature capsules or the prices of their machines. When Pits started making Nespresso capsules (compatible with the original line), we finally seriously considered buying a machine, and we were drawn by the machine's price, small footprint, and generally good reviews. We thought the risk was low at this price point. So happy we chose it. The machine is so easy to use and easy to clean. Yes, our fresh bean semi-automatic espresso coffee maker makes a better cup, but it takes far more skill, work, and chaos to get that cup. Now that we've finally found some tasty pods on the market, the resulting cup is pretty good, especially considering the convenience factor of this machine. The machine itself feels sturdy and well-engineered, and is fairly quiet (especially compared to our semi-automatic). Delivery was quick. I have no regrets stopping at this unbranded car. In fact, we liked it so much we bought a second one; So far they both work like a charm.
