1. Don't worry the water is cold. You don't even notice. However, I live in Florida so my cold water never freezes - take that into account.2. Installation is pretty easy - it took me 10 minutes. Yes, you will have leaks if you don't tighten everything properly - be careful not to move/damage the parts inside the tank when tightening the bidet faucet.3. If you weigh less than 200 pounds, this probably isn't an issue. One of my household members is quite tall and covers the handle/arm of the bidet when seated. I hope it's made well enough to accommodate this and not weaken the plastic.4. I know everyone has slightly different physiques, but the range between the two settings (rear and female) isn't much different. You just need to adjust your sitting position :) 5. Rotate the nozzle very slowly to avoid unexpected enema! I can't relieve the wall pressure because my pipes are rattling. So be careful!
