A composting service has recently been launched in our area which we have been looking forward to for several years. One of the things they did was an educational event at the community center to learn about composting and get a free trash can that came with the compostable bags. The container was great but the packages were terrible! They kept breaking and eventually we stopped using them because it was pointless. But then we got mold both in the container and in the bin outside. These packs are MUCH better. We didn't have a single gap (sometimes a small hole forms, but it's pretty stable) and we definitely overload them from time to time. The only downside - and I think that applies to compostable bags in general - is that moisture can penetrate the bag. So things like coffee grounds will leach out the water component. However, since we switched to these packages, we no longer have any problems with casting. Another small detail: we love the dispenser that comes with it, but I find it wasteful to send one along with every order. Maybe I missed where to order bags without a dispenser? We also attached it to our fridge but it only stayed stuck for a week before falling off.
