I ran a Cat6 cable from the basement to the top floor and couldn't get it through the house; I needed something to walk up the slope. Other online electronics stores were charging ridiculous prices so I found this one and bought it. The price was reasonable and it is designed for outdoor use including direct burial and UV protection. I bought this and then sold the rest to a colleague who wanted to run wired ethernet in his "barn" (actually a man cave) that he had dug in to run. I've been using it for a few years, there is no visible damage from UV rays yet. It's a much thicker wire that was a little tricky to cut, but it ended up working as it should and its strength makes me think it will last a long time.
