Started to rust after 3 weeks
Not sure if it's because I live in Michigan and we have bad weather everywhere but I got it on the 28 steel rod). Today, less than 2 months after the order date, I will oil the second clasp (dog end) because it no longer opens easily. Since I received it it has been used several times a day but I figured I could go 9+ months before showing any signs of wear. I don't know what steel the clasps are made of, but it's not stainless or zinc plated. Otherwise, my 3-month-old Alaskan Malamute is in the backyard.
