God thank you for these enhancements. In my wiring for my pool pump, some yahoo literally stuffed at least 5 stranded 12ga wires into ONE wire nut for grounding. And that for 240 V devices! Splitting it into multiple bases (tied together of course) meant a lot more capitalization and there just wasn't room. This is a 2 gang box containing the wiring from the pump to a small mechanical clockwork and wiring to an external manual switch for it and about 120 to an outlet (from the pool dive light circuit). The only thing that hurts here is the ridiculously thin and difficult to maneuver and difficult to handle foam "weather seal” they give you, but that's true of every out-of-class electrical box I've bought. I added an RTV bead around the outside butt joint after assembly as a backup plan.
