Exactly as pictured - just had a unique situation which I wanted to share in case it helps the next person. While the cable was adequate for my needs, it required some "manual setup" for my particular situation. I work from home. I have a personal bridge router and a company-supplied VPN device, so I move that all the time Network cable for my PC from one device to another.I wanted an adapter because my connection to the Cisco port has a latch for the RJ-45 on the bottom which is not very convenient for my use.The top of my EA4500 has a lip , which as part of its "design" stretches across all 4 sides of the device. So for me, the "casing" on the side of the RJ-45 connector was too thick to connect to the router. There's just not enough clearance between it and the EA4500 bar, nor is there enough open RJ-45 For this adapter you either need to shorten the case to expose more connectors or make the case a bit thinner to solve gap problem to decrease me. I got this working by taking a dremel and sanding the top edge a bit. Not pretty, but it helped. If not for my particular situation, this would be the perfect adapter. Sturdy construction - no weak parts. Both male and female connectors are durable. My only hit is the thickness. Just something to keep in mind as you check this out for yourself.
