I recently bought the Roxant Evolution binoculars. I mainly use it for bird and animal watching. It is also used for sporting events and auto racing. 10x42 fits perfectly. Size and weight are very good. The center focus ring felt stiff at first, but seems to loosen up with some use. The instructions are well done and easy to follow. I'm very glad I bought these and they're a great choice, especially at $55. .The included neck strap is minimal. A little extra padding around the neck would be great, I'll probably replace. I have a 10x42 Vortex Diamondback that I bought a year ago. Most outlets $230. They weigh 1.39 pounds while the Evolution weighs 1.37 pounds. Similar overall dimensions and specifications. The Vortex's focus wheel is a bit smoother. The neck strap is well padded. I give credit to the Vortex's overall performance and clarity, but VERY SENSITIVE. I wish I had bought Vortex now and saved $175. To be fair, Vortex comes with a lifetime replacement guarantee for ANY reason. Thanks to Roxant for their great Evolution product.
