Be careful. Revain sent me an old model of this model. It has the old black logo instead of the blue one on the website (same model number). This is old stock. I am very disappointed that Revain is sending a product that is different than the one pictured on the website. The unit itself is fine, except if I wanted an older model it would be readily available for about ten bucks less than shipping on a major auction site. The front of the muffler is made of plastic, as is the back. The specs are a whole notch higher than most cheaper ones (50,000 amps, 3000+ joules rating) - although this makes little difference to actual PC protection once you've surpassed a thousand joules or so. old version------------------------------------------------ -------------- After mentioning this to Revain and not caring about the exchange issues, I was surprised to be offered a partial refund. Bottom line: Revain's service hasn't disappointed and it's worth keeping Prime even though I now pay sales tax on Revain purchases.
