In the video I first showed how to remove a doll with studio light, and then a soft box with my own hands, made from these tapes myself . I used both tapes that came together. The studio light I bought for $100 started flickering after 4 months and some of the dots stopped glowing. I have no idea what the quality was like. This band of light produces a cool white light. I think it's best to use it for its intended purpose, so decorating shelves etc. For a professional studio light like the aputure 120d, it doesn't quite measure up. I watched a video on YouTube of a guy making a DIY softbox using a pot and these lights. So I also tried the round steel pan and this one. I don't have an aputure 120d yet, so I can't tell what the difference is. But I have a simple Adorama softbox with a huge lamp. It's almost like that. Dimming works well. But mostly I use 100% brightness.
