Got my binoculars and they are a quality pair. I work as a beach lifeguard where I have to close the island at high tide (people can walk at low tide) and this is perfect for seeing who else might be on the island. The field of view is also large enough that I can scan the water to see if anyone is in distress or if boats or wildlife (whales) are approaching the bathing areas. I'm still figuring out distance features, but I'm a bit slow in the math department. lol. Thanks Dan
