Great product for this money! Widescreen: 1920x1080 (1,777) Still working after 4 years.

I'm glad I got this for my new office. I use it with my laptop's analog VGA port and it looks really good. I can't say anything about the DVI quality. With my other Viewsonic LCD monitor, I had no problems with color matching. I also had to turn down the brightness. Viewing angles are good and some white light bleeding is normal when viewed from a steep angle compared to other monitors I have. Others have complained about this, but it's only noticeable in very dark environments. It tilts back and forth and I was able to tilt it back to a comfortable angle for my desk. The speakers are good for working but not for listening to music as they are quiet and have very weak bass. (The speakers are on the back and away from you.) I would buy another if I needed a different screen. Tip: Keep the driver CD. Setting up with drivers from the internet (some versions of Windows) is difficult. Well, the problem wasn't in the driver, read the advice below! Fixed native resolution issue: my windows 7 ibm laptop with nvidia wouldn't run this at the native resolution of 1920x1080. I get it. First, open the nvidia control panel and select the resolution there. My monitor reported an alarm because of the wrong frequency of 75 Hz. Then go to Screen resolution, Advanced settings, Monitor tab, uncheck "Hide modes this monitor can't display" and select 60Hz. (We're doing this because we know better.) The alarm has been reset. Problem solved. The display is crisp. Alternative solution: set the resolution to 1600x900 if you like it too. The ratio of 1.777 is retained. I also like that it can be set to turn off automatically when the signal disappears. This is one of the options in the settings menu. good luck
