Not a real turntable

Well it works. Something like that. Below are two muted spots - one for an extension, the other for adjusting the ringer volume. I think I should be happy with the volume on a call. Ignore this, but the images here are misleading as they imply these features actually exist. Excited, I set up the heart rate monitor with the switch down, plugged it in and tried it out. To my dismay, it's entirely electronic - it doesn't pulse when the rotating wheel returns to its original position, but instead waits for the dial to return and then emits an electronic pulse signal. This can be tolerable except the phone then rings on each impulse so 8 short rings to dial 8 etc. So I set it to tone dialing and it works fine although it's not what I wanted when I have ordered it. It also made the same brief ringing sound when I first plugged it into the wall. It always rings when I pick up or hang up the handset. I like the call, but only when it's supposed to ring and not always, it's just annoying. be replaced with a longer cable or if it breaks. The saving grace is that the sound quality is excellent - better than the old AT&T 210 I had. All in all, this is a decent phone if you don't mind the button tone and can tolerate an extra ringtone. However, if I wanted that, I'd order Opis PushMeFon instead. From the looks of it I doubt I'll try it and will probably try replacing it with a Cortelco 2500 at a much lower price. This is an expensive phone and I expected a lot more for the price.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • For the old one
