I received an Apexel APL-JS28X 28X telephoto lens as a gift from my husband to use on my smartphone for birdwatching photography. I know he studied it before buying it. The telephoto lens was easy to attach to my phone with the metal clip that came with it. The kit also included a nice lens case, lens cap, tripod mounting ring, monocular rubber wing and cleaning cloth. Due to the 28x telephoto lens, I found it best to have a tripod for clear images as it's difficult to hold the phone steady with zoom. What's nice is that the telephoto lens also comes with a Bluetooth remote shutter release when the smartphone is on a tripod, with a telephoto lens to eliminate camera shake and ensure a clear shot. I also attached a telephoto lens to the tablet to zoom in. It worked wonderfully. Currently, without a tripod (sold separately), I could use my tablet to take photos and videos of objects with a much larger view of the subject. Since my tablet is thin, I also used a small piece of vinyl (faux leather) to hold the metal clip firmly to the front of the tablet. This is a great, easy-to-use telephoto lens for your smartphone or tablet.
