Works as advertised! I'm pretty sure this isn't a cheap construction that must have welds ahead of the bolt holes, but a solid piece. The only thing is that you technically have to put it diagonally, that is, place it where it's shaped like a diamond, not a square. The amazing device is over 1 1/2" so there is no logical way to get the bolt right so literally dangle it so you can get a second bottom screw hole to get into that bolt and you have at least two screws in a hairpin. In the other screw holes just put the dowels in, screw in two, done. This is an amazing and very durable unit. It had one of my Flashpoint 1220M studio lights and it helped a lot Package received, throw away those stupid black screws It's 100% pointless Use REAL screws like 1 3/4" or 1 1/2" screws to get a great bolt hook.
