Strip to strip and L shaped connectors will not work

This review is for the 12mm 5 wire range. This product page also lists a separate product for 10mm LED strips, which is not covered here. Ribbon-to-ribbon connectors and L-shaped connectors that contain a pair of sharp ends in clips work very poorly and do not provide a good connection. between two LED strips. Pushing the sharp ends into the LED strip, helping to keep the connectors from coming loose, can damage the LED strip, especially since the pair of sharp ends are made from a single piece of conductive metal. Other brands have a plastic tab in the terminals to ensure good contact between the spring contacts and the LED strips and to reinforce the terminals a bit, but these terminals lack this important feature. Other people notice that the colors are mixed up. You should be aware that different 12mm RGBW LED strips use different pin order. This is not a significant problem for stripe-to-strip connectors since electricity doesn't really care what color the conductors are as long as the two strips are of the same order. All the 5-wire flat wires I've seen are insulated in the order BLACK-GREEN-RED-BLUE-WHITE, and the RGBW LED strips I've used the most are +12V/+24 in order V (black)- green - red-white-blue on the strips and when soldering the end wires to the strips, swap the order of the BLUE-WHITE wires so that the order on the end connectors matches the order of the wire colors. If you cut strips and solder your own wires to them, you must match the colors of the wires to the labels on the strips and not just blindly follow the order of the strips' pins.
