All four rectangular connectors in this kit didn't work - they were open on the center (red) pin and the problem seems to be with the printed bend, not the edge connector, so soldering didn't help. The other parts of this kit work fine, although the color of the pigtail wires doesn't quite match the color of the strip I'm using.

This LE/lampUX ribbon connector kit was used to extend 16 feet and create corners. The color of the connectors (clamping type) matches the strips perfectly. Connectors are marked +/- for black or white. It is very easy to run sections of coiled cord through cabinets and then connect to a light strip when needed. Tip: For these connectors, select 5-wire 12mm strips as indicated.

White wires with color marking of the contacts do not match the color marking of the LED strip. They have a yellow wire that doesn't match any color on the strip or 5 wire strips. Also, they're reverse coded, meaning red connects to green, green connects to red, etc., etc. Extenders will dull if you move the cable or there are kinks near the connection, causing one bar to glow blue and the bars underneath will be red. Very frustrating but with enough exposure you can get them working.

Yes I know it's mentioned in the description but I didn't know there were 10mm and 12mm strips. This was my own fault but wanted to post to possibly help other people reading the reviews more than the description (again I thought SMD5050 == SMD5050 in all cases so I figured I had to go).
