Turns out the most important thing I needed from this kit was an extension cable to connect my strip to the breadboard I use to power the controller connected to the power supply and another strip in a modular way. Unfortunately none of the parts included in this kit provide a useful way to adapt an extension cord strand to Dupont jumpers/header connectors. marked with a wired order. I had to use an ohmmeter to figure out which pin corresponded to which wire, which was a hassle. Useful details, but you might find you have to improvise to make your project work depending on what you need. Expect to need some other parts and a soldering kit.
