I asked the seller about compatibility before ordering but never received the advertised 24 hour response. Since the Sengled LED strip is a 12mm wide 5 wire strip I ordered this kit anyway but found it didn't work. The Sengled strip has a thick, clear rubber coating that had to be peeled off the LED strip itself and pushed back far enough to reveal the contact points. The strip-to-strip connector in this kit has tiny protrusions that seem to slide along the edges of the LED strip as they are fed to the contact pins, but the special strip is too wide to fit between the edges and to lie flat under those tabs. I tried to attach the connector without slipping under those tabs and flipped it over to use the tops of the pins, but no matter what I did I couldn't make good contact with all the pins on the strip at once.
