Review on Moog RK620045 Control Arm by Andrew Woodruff

Cheap junk, don't expect durability - you'll get a year or two at most

If you're looking for a cheap replacement for a few months or so (sell car etc) get it will work. It's cheaper than OEM, but you definitely get what you pay for. Four years later, the boot of the upper ball joint broke in half. Seems to have been hacked for some time. I had an immediate problem with another Moog (driver) unit and at the same time replaced it with an ACDelco part. The ball joint boot on the ACDelco still looks good (4 years later) so I'm pretty happy with it. The reviews for ACDelco are pretty bad, so it looks like I got lucky. In short, buy OEM if you want durability. The original OEM unit lasted me 15 years, this Moog not even 4.

Pros
  • FULL COVERAGE - Available for foreign and domestic nameplates
Cons
  • Big and bulky
