So, given the recent reviews, I want to say I reached out directly to the manufacturer, to ask the real story. The "Pb recycling" mark on the box is because of the materials in the packaging, not because of the materials of the bowl itself.I have two of these bowls - one in blue, and one in white. I've only used the blue bowl once so far, but it seems fine. I've used the white bowl several times now, and on the first session it did seem finicky about heat - I semi-dense-packed some Al Fakher tobacco in it, and about 10 minutes into the session, two coals (with a Lotus) were too much. Dropped down to one coal and it got better. All other times I've used it, I packed the tobacco less dense and it's managed heat totally fine.Cleanup is easy enough. I wait for the bowl to cool down, and I rinse and scrub it. I've owned two bowls from the original Brand M that inspired this product, and the experience is comparable between the Pivot and the Brand M.One thing I'd love for the future is a black and gold color :) but I'm happy with the product so far.
