I fitted these shock absorbers to the front of my 1997 Ford F-150 Supercab, 4WD, Automatic Transmission, 4.6L Engine to tow a new Puma travel trailer I just bought. I also bought a pair of Monroe 58629 Sensa-Trac Load Matched Rear Shocks. Doesn't matter! I've gone through 2 pairs of Rancho shocks with just over 250,000 miles on them. Doesn't matter! Whether in everyday life or off-road, these dampers are for me. (I also bought a Reese weight-distribution hitch to tow a 6500-pound trailer.) I highly recommend this line of shocks.
